How Much Notice Does a Landlord Have to Give a Tenant to Move out in Maryland?

Landlords in Maryland must usually give tenants 1 month of advance notice when they intend for them to move out without cause. This includes at-will tenants who rent from a landlord without the benefits of a lease agreement (regardless of their rental period length). However, if a Maryland landlord has a justifiable reason to evict their tenant, then that notice period may be lowered to 14 days at a minimum.
