But that preconception couldn’t be further from the truth because this model includes many components and specifications that enable it to protect a home against up to 50,000 amps of surge electricity. For example, this model’s solid state bi-directional operation allows it to repeatedly facilitate 1 nanosecond response times to bursts of as much as 5,000 volts.

The aforementioned square-shaped enclosure deserves a second mention, as well. That’s because this model’s case is made from a unique NEMA 4X polycarbonate material that is both durable and lightweight. Accordingly, this model can be mounted in several different orientations, including in a line side and load side application.
