How Long Does a Landlord Have to Return the Security Deposit in Florida?

In Florida, a landlord has 15 days from the move out date to return the security deposit if there are no deductions. If there are deductions, the landlord must also provide the tenant with a written statement of the deductions within 30 days.

Note, however, that the tenant has 15 days from the receipt of the written statement to dispute charges.
